Welcome!
At Castro Valley Optometry, we believe great eye care starts with truly listening. Our team is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate care for every member of your family, from infants to grandparents and beyond.
When you come to see us, you can expect a warm welcome, a careful and comprehensive eye exam, and a doctor who takes the time to answer every question. Whether we're updating your prescription, fitting you for contacts, or managing a more complex eye condition, we hold ourselves to the highest standards because your vision matters deeply to us.
We also carry a carefully selected range of frames, lenses, and contact lenses. We want finding the right fit to be easy and affordable for every patient we see.
ELEVATE YOUR FAMILY'S EYE CARE EXPERIENCE: WHY CHOOSE OUR TEAM?
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Our team of eye doctors is highly qualified to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. All of our doctors have received residency training in various areas, including primary care, low vision, ocular disease, pediatrics and binocular vision. Residency training is a voluntary, additional year of specialized education that goes beyond the standard optometric curriculum—highlighting the advanced expertise and dedication of our doctors in delivering exceptional eye care.
TIME & ATTENTION
We believe in taking the time necessary to provide comprehensive and thorough eye examinations. We understand that no two patients are alike, and we are committed to listening carefully to your unique vision concerns. At every comprehensive eye exam, we ensure that your questions are answered, your condition is thoroughly assessed, and your treatment plan is customized to your specific needs.
SPECIALIZED TREATMENT PROGRAMS
We offer more than just the standard of care. We provide a range of specialized programs designed to address unique vision challenges and provide tailored solutions for your family's eye health, including myopia management to control nearsightedness, orthokeratology (ortho-k) for a glasses-free solution, and binocular vision & vision therapy to enhance visual skills and eye coordination.
FAMILY-CENTERED CARE
We are not just an eye care provider—we are a part of your community, and we treat you like family. Our commitment to family-centered care means we understand the importance of your family's eye health. Whether it's addressing childhood vision issues or guiding adults through age-related changes, our team is here to support your family's visual well-being at every stage of life.
